The US 301 / SR43 Roadway Reconstruction Project involves a critical infrastructure initiative aimed at revitalizing the stretch of highway from north of Lake St. Charles Blvd to north of Progress Blvd. This project centers around the reconstruction of the road using asphalt, encompassing several intricate aspects to ensure its successful completion.

The reconstruction area required variable depth / GPS milling and was supported by Ben Harlan and his crew. To add to the challenge – a large diameter ammonia line paralleled the roadway and had to be constantly monitored to complete the drainage and grading construction.
