This project consisted of the in-place reconstruction of Runway and 4-22 and parallel Taxiway A at Peter O Knight Airport on Davis Island in Tampa. Other work consisted of the placement of airfield drainage and the reconstruction of multiple small taxiways and hangar areas. Approximately 90,000 SY of full-depth reclamation were constructed with 15,000 tons of P-401 asphalt. The project was phased to minimize impacts to the Airfield. Airfield electrical signage and airfield markings we also key elements of the Project.
