I wanted to update everyone on where we are at in our journey to provide leadership and career advancement training within the organization.
On May 12, Ajax’s Leadership Cohort #1 commenced training andeducation with Danielle Cobo, Elite Career Coach, to better develop theirskills and become professional leaders within the family.
Garett Fons - Area 2 Construction Manager
Nate Hassler - Area 1 Project Manager
Ginger Johnson - Assistant Controller
Donnie Plensdorf - Area 3 Paving Foreman
Dee Rodriguz - Area 3 Project Manager
These individuals were selected to begin building a solid foundation for representation at different levels with the company. We expect this to be a successful venture and will offer the program up to two times per year.
Once this Cohort graduates in October, we will have some new leaders to better assist using rolling out the competency model training program that has been developed.I acknowledge that it has been a slow process to get this up and running. I expect many of you thought it had fallen by the wayside like many initiatives we attempted in the past. This program is an essential piece of my legacy that I will leave behind, and I wanted to move slowly and roll it out successfully.In the upcoming leadership updates, you will not be hearing from me. You will behearing from leaders at all different levels within Ajax. I believe it is essential to recognize that our true leaders exist at all levels throughout the organization.
